We ask participants to commit to working with JAG Healthcare for at least six months after completing the program. This allows you to build valuable experience, grow your confidence as a caregiver, and make the most of the investment we’re making in your future.

Qualifications
To be considered for the CNA Training Program, applicants should:
- Have reliable transportation to attend class and clinical training
- Be able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents
- Successfully complete any required pre-employment screenings
- Committed to completing the training program and working with JAG Healthcare for at least six months following certification.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
The CNA course is completed in just 10 days.
No. Our program is designed for individuals beginning their healthcare careers.
Yes! CPR training is included as part of the course.
CNA training classes are currently offered at our Harding, Orrville, Burbank, and Union City locations.
Don’t let the training location discourage you from applying! Employees from any JAG Healthcare facility are eligible to participate in the program. If your home facility doesn’t host a class, we’ll work with you to complete your training at one of our training locations before transitioning you back to your home facility after certification.
After successfully completing the program and passing the Ohio CNA exam, you’ll transition into a Certified Nurse Aide position at JAG Healthcare. From there, you’ll continue building your skills while working alongside experienced nurses, therapists, and healthcare professionals. Many of our team members begin their careers a CNAs and continue growing into leadership or nursing roles.
Absolutely. Students complete on-site clinical training with experienced healthcare professionals.
Yes. You’ll receive a Certificate of Completion and become eligible to take the Ohio CNA certification exam.
We typically offer a new CNA training class once a month. Start dates vary based on facility scheduling and training logistics. Once you apply, we’ll contact you with the next available class dates and guide you through the enrollment process.
Employees who remain with JAG Healthcare for at least six months have their training provided at no cost.
Yes, depending on the facility. Some JAG Healthcare locations care for residents living with dementia, memory loss, behavioral health needs, or cognitive impairments. You’ll receive guidance and support while providing compassionate, individualized care that promotes dignity, safety, and quality of life.
