As an Occupational Therapist (OT) at JAG Healthcare, you’ll help residents regain the skills and confidence needed to perform everyday activities following illness, injury, surgery, or changes in physical or cognitive function. Through personalized evaluations and treatment plans, you’ll empower residents to achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life.
Working closely with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team, you’ll play an essential role in helping individuals reach meaningful goals and maximize their functional abilities.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Ohio
- CPR certification (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care is preferred but not required
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Effective documentation and organizational skills
- Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach to care

Yes. Occupational Therapists typically provide clinical supervision and guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) while collaborating to ensure residents receive appropriate therapy services.
Yes. Occupational Therapists are responsible for evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge documentation, and other required clinical records to support quality care and regulatory compliance.
Schedules vary by facility and current staffing needs. Depending on the opening, full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities may be available.
